Emile Henry Large Storage Bowl

The French Emile Henry storage bowl uses a top lid made of special cork to store fruit while keeping fruit flies away; the lower body is made of Burgundy ceramic — a mini pantry for potatoes, onions, beets, other root vegetables, and ripening fruit.
** The natural properties of cork help preserve fruit, keeping it fresh longer and effectively preventing annoying fruit flies.
** The ceramic body blocks light and, with the cork lid's insulating properties, keeps a constant temperature — like an old-fashioned wine cellar — effectively stopping potatoes and onions from sprouting too early.
